Raspberry Pi 400

The Raspberry Pi 400 is the new addition to the Raspberry Pi family, a combined 64 bit computer and keyboard that can work with any monitor or TV that has an HDMI connection (https://www.raspberrypi.org/products/raspberry-pi-400/?resellerType=home and https://www.wired.co.uk/article/raspberry-pi-400-review). This is something of a new departure for the Raspberry Pi Foundation who have carved out a successful niche in the hobbyist and computer science education markets where their small size, low cost, low power consumption computers have sparked a wide range of innovative applications.

In terms of performance and price the Pi 400 can take on the entry level system competition, some users may be put off by the lack of a fully compatible desktop version of Microsoft Windows others will be happy with the Linux alternatives. The Pi 400 does not aim to be a buy, plug in and use consumer system, it still needs demands a few tweaking and configuration steps.

If you want a low cost, compact system for a home office, education or a second machine... increasingly common needs in this covid 19 world the Pi 400 is worth considering.
