About Us - and You
Requirements & Commitment
"My experience interning with CFFAD couldn’t have been better. I felt like my ideas were making a difference in the direction of the Center, and that gave me a real stake in the organization and its mission. Moreover, I learned new skills while feeling like I was doing something for the greater good." - Volunteer 2018 & 2019
Nice rewrite! A suggested edit: if you are an all -volunteer org, you should say so, because this is a VERY large commitment for someone to make to not be paid. This is a role that is asking for a lot of experience and a lot of time, and if you are going to make it an unpaid role, you need to note that your entire organization is all-volunteer/unpaid.
If you *aren't* an all-volunteer organization, if some people *are* paid... you're getting into some ethical issues by asking for this kind of time commitment and expertise, and you might want to put a cap of 5 hours *at most* a week, and a commitment of just 3 - 6 months. Otherwise, you might incur the wrath of the growing number of anti-unpaid-internship activists (yes, really).

We are all unpaid volunteers. We are not asking for a lot of time and we would be grateful for what can get.
Could you and I now remain silent and see if other forum users, potential volunteers in particular, would like to respond?
You are quite right. Would you be interested in giving us a hand?
Write to us at email@example.com.
We look forward to hearing from you!
I noticed that didn't include a link to the CFFAD website in your original post. I'd suggest that you include it.
Also, I would encourage you to take a moment to fill out your TechSoup community profile. Your community profile is where people can read more about you and your organization by clicking on your "Doug-CFFAD" user name. You'll get more exposure this way as well. Once you're logged in to the forums, you can edit your profile by clicking on "My Community Profile" on the right-hand side of the page:
