Free Geek, a nonprofit organization in Portland, Oregon, seeks a Digital Inclusion Program Associate. This position is responsible for supporting Free Geek’s suite of digital inclusion programs.
Free Geek is passionate about creating a better future by sustainably reusing technology, enabling digital access, and providing education to create a community that empowers people to realize their potential. Free Geek does this by refurbishing and recycling used technology to provide computers and technology skills training to individuals in exchange for volunteer service. Free Geek also grants computers to schools, nonprofits, and charitable organizations.

To continue our growth, we are seeking a Digital Inclusion Program Associate to help us in continuing toward our goal of including everyone in our digital future!
The Digital Inclusion Program Associate position is Non-Exempt and reports to the Digital Inclusion Program Manager.
Salary: $18.22 per hour
This position is responsible for supporting the Organization’s suite of digital inclusion programs. This role teaches and coordinates free community classes, assists with community outreach, processes applications, and supports program evaluation by performing the following duties.
1. Teaches, promotes, and coordinates classes (on- and off-site).
2. Processes applications for Free Geek’s computer access programs.
3. Represents Free Geek with partners and community-based organizations.
