This BBC story (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-56083231) reports that 80% of the five thousand health apps assessed for several NHS Trusts had failings. The failings included poor information, lack of security updates and insufficient awareness of regulatory requirements.
Standards for health apps that medical staff can recommand to patients are rightly quite strict and regulatory requirements can vary in different countries around the world. However, my gut feeling is that if this is an issue in the UK it is probably a cause for concern everywhere, do you agree?
