Hello, I am looking for a Wifi provider. Currently we have Comcast, but I'm hoping to find something cheaper. The mobile hotspots are interesting, but we need a Wifi service that can support multiple devices, like smart speakers, cell phones etc. Does Techsoup provide anything like this? If not, is anyone aware of ways to get free or cheap wifi for nonprofits? Thank you!
It depends on where you are. For instance, in the rural area of the county I live in - a county where, in the urban areas, there huge offices for Intel and Nike - there is ONE Internet provider. Just 20 miles makes the difference on what kind of options one has.

Are you asking about internet access? Mobile Beacon has the $10/month 4G service through Sprint. It you are using it to supply internet for a fixed office then invest in a 6100D to provide both the WiFi and hardwire (RJ-45/ethernet) connections. The little boxes supplied through Techsoup have issues with the batteries if they stayed plugged in for over a year. Once the battery fails the box fails shortly after. The 6100D has no battery - it is designed to stay connected.
I have Verizon cell service. For an extra $10/month my phone turns into a hotspot (or USB connection) just like the Mobile Beacon device. That is great if you are not near a Sprint Tower. I believe ATT has a similar offer.
