I suspect that online interviews and remote hiring will decline but not vanish as covid restrictions ease although it is too soon to be sure. In the last year I have not been on a hiring team but have been through a few online interviews and delivered a few online pitches for freelance work. Based on that limited and probably unrepresentative sample it is something that both hiring teams and candidates need more practise at.
