Alice is a visual programming environment for animation projects used by teachers at all levels from middle schools (and sometimes even younger) to universities, in school classrooms and in after school and out of school programming, and in subjects ranging from visual arts and language arts to the fundamentals of programming and introduction to java courses.
Code in Alice is a summer program from Carnegie Mellon University Qatar. The goal is to teach computer programming within an engaging environment and small teacher-student ratio.
If you have experience in programming and a passion for teaching; you can apply. Even if you never used Alice before, do not worry. they will provide the resources for you to quickly catch up. They have also prepared a few workshops to get you up to speed in mastering the tool.
