My organization recently qualified for Google for Nonprofits.

We are a nonprofit chamber of commerce using Google Workspace for Business Standard and tools such as Voice and Classroom.

I'm looking for resources to make the transition from one Google plan to another seamless (from a technical perspective).

Anyone know a good way to communicate with Google on what to expect when changing Workspace plans?

If you need a Validation token, see the following steps: 

Accessing and Using Your Validation Token

  1. Visit our Validation Services page to create a token.
  2. Once you have created and copied your token, select the Google for Nonprofits link. It will prompt you to log in to your Google account if you are not logged in already.
  3. Certify the terms and paste your token in the required field.
  4. Select Continue to confirm your eligibility for Google for Nonprofits.

Wondering if any one has faced the challenge of transitioning from a paid google workspace to the NP version.

Someone on my team purchased a 3 year subscription to Google Workspace Plus (even though we are eligible for Google for Nonprofit pricing). I contacted google and was told I had to ride out the next 2.5 years of my contract even though we qualify for free and reduced pricing.

Any suggestions on workarounds here? Thank you!
