I started my career in Human Resources in Madison, WI where one of the first projects I was involved in was helping the one IT programmer assigned to us in designing and developing an in-house HRIS system. The IT department heard that I coded in college, as I had every intention of being a Computer Programmer in my early college years...

Since then, every nonprofit job I have had involved using improved technology to meet our mission.

My passion for this has not wavered.  My current role as the Executive Director of the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative, a program with the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, is to provide leadership training to nonprofit leaders, including board members.

Each day I'm reminded of how all the leadership training in the world won't make the greatest impact if the right infrastructure isn't in place.  Thus, my personal mission to help nonprofits find the best technology solutions for their small to medium sized organizations as part of that role.
